Sir,
I am directed to inform you that His Excellency the Officer Administering the Government is not satisfied with the explanations given by you in your evidence before the Public Health and Buildings Ordinance Commission of the state of your financial affairs.
His Excellency desires to know whether you are able to furnish any further particulars in explanation more especially with regard to the sources from which you obtained the sums paid into your wife's Savings Bank Account between
(a) March 1st and December 31st, 1902.
(b) January 3rd and July 2nd, 1903.
(c) February 12th, 1904, and January 13th, 1905.
and also with regard to your remittances to England from 1901 onward.
I shall be obliged by receiving your reply within one week from this date.
